Molengracht--is the Dutch word for Mill Canal. A Canal? In the middle of downtown Pella? Our canal appears to emerge from under East First street, just steps from the new Vermeer Mill. It winds and curves the full length of the block, through brickbound pedestrian walkways surrounded by buildings using 18th century dutch architecture. Guests are welcome to browse the unique shops surrounding the canal, take in a movie at the new tri-plex movie theatre, dine at the outdoor seating, or simply relax by the cool waters of the canal and enjoy the view of the colorful flowers in container gardens and the spectacular view of the full size working dutch drawbridge that spans the canal.
